I was asked by Keir to produce a series of acoustic session videos to accompany the track’s single release. We worked to create interesting shots and dynamic lighting to create a video that wasn’t your run of the mill live performance in a studio setup. We used minimal lighting, hard contrast and tried to ensure the video wasn’t too distracting from Keir’s epic perfomance.

Ben Saunders also captured some VHS B-roll to include in the final video for a change of aesthetic at the start of video. We discussed having VHS mixed throughout the video during the editing process; however, decided it could be too distracting for an acoustic performance, so decided to keep some of the longer shots.
